OUR IDENTITY

WHO ARE WE?
The Mn. Frederic Bara with a history of more than 40 years in the city of Reus. It aims to carry out a compensatory and preventive action with children and adolescents, outside school hours, welcoming and attending preferably, through educational activities of leisure time, those children and adolescents who, for different reasons, are in financial need. , social or family.

It is formed by a Board of Trustees and with the support of the company of the Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul. It has professionals in the social and educational field and, with the help of volunteers, makes their work possible.

WHAT WE DO?
The Foundation provides a socio-educational care service in leisure time, welcoming and caring for children and adolescents between 3 and 18 years old, with learning difficulties, limited socio-economic resources or with deprived family structures as well as their respective families. through different projects.
 
It provides a space for coexistence, individual and group care, referral and integration to standardized community resources, coordinated with other services in the city and province.

From the Mossèn Frederic Bara i cortiella Foundation, we are committed to the human and professional quality of our work,  aimed at children and adolescents between 3 and 18 years old, from the country or newcomers who, living in Reus and being educated in any school or institute in the city, are committed to a shared and integrated future in our city, regardless of their religion or culture, ethnicity and origin, thus achieving full inclusion in our society.

Because we recognize the value of everyone and believe that it is essential for the most disadvantaged children and adolescents, we provide rooting in the host country, we accompany them in the process of their growth while preventing and promoting their personality.
